Terms and Conditions for Late Cancellation, Non-Arrivals and Late Arrivals for appointments:

1. Cancellation Policy:   

 a. Patients are required to provide at least 8 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

   b. Cancellations made less than 8 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will be considered late cancellations.

   c. Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee imposed on the patient.


2. Cancellation Fee:

   a. In the event of a late cancellation or non-arrival, a cancellation fee may be charged.

   b. The cancellation fee amount may vary depending on the length and type of the appointment.​

3. Non-Arrival Policy:

   a. If a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment and does not provide any prior notice (a non-arrival), it will be considered a missed appointment.

   b. In the case of a non-arrival, the patient will be charged the full appointment fee as if the treatment had taken place.

4. Rescheduling:

  a. Patients are encouraged to reschedule appointments within a reasonable time frame if they are unable to attend the scheduled appointment.

   b. Any rescheduling requests are subject to availability, and That Physio Clinic cannot guarantee availability for rescheduled appointments.

5. Exceptions:  

a. In certain cases, such as emergencies or extenuating circumstances, That Physio may waive the cancellation fee. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform That Physio about any exceptional circumstances as soon as possible.

6. Payment:  

a. Cancellation fees and missed appointment charges should be paid promptly, as specified by That Physio Clinic.

   b. Failure to pay the cancellation fee or missed appointment charge may result in further action, such as suspension of future appointments or the involvement of a collections agency.

7. Timekeeping: 

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. We urge all clients to be present at least 5-10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time.

8. Late Arrivals: 

If you arrive late for your appointment, your session will be shortened and you will receive treatment for the remaining duration of your original appointment slot. We cannot infringe on the subsequent client’s appointment time.

9. No Extension: 

Under no circumstances will a late arrival lead to an extension of the scheduled appointment time.

10. Limited Service: 

Please note that a late arrival may result in reduced therapy time in order to maintain the schedule of the physiotherapist. As such, you might not receive the full benefit of your scheduled session.

11. Full Payment: 

Despite a shortened session due to late arrival, the full fee for the session will apply. 

12. Consistent Lateness: 

Clients consistently arriving late may have their future appointment times adjusted to better accommodate their timing, or may even be declined for booking future appointments.

13. Notice of Changes:

  a. That Physio clinic reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time.

   b. Patients will be notified of any changes well in advance to ensure they have the opportunity to review and understand the updated terms.
